【CAMMUS】App-User Guide

[CAMMUS] App is a mobile phone software developed by CAMMUS to connect and control the racing simulation equipment developed and produced by CAMMUS.

Using the [CAMMUS] App, you can control the racing simulation equipment, adjust the parameters, and save the parameters.

This article will introduce [CAMMUS] App registration tutorial and usage method.

Download method: search for [CAMMUS] in the App Store or Google Play to download.

Registration tutorial:

Open the App and enter the registration interface

Enter the verification code to complete the registration.

Use tutorial:

After successful registration, enter the selection interface, the specific functions are as shown in the figure below.

After entering the parameter interface, the parameters of the connected device can be adjusted and saved.

Parameter information:

Set the center position
When changing the steering wheel or the vehicle, if the steering wheel on the base is inconsistent or deviated from the position of the steering wheel in the game when it is centered, please place the steering wheel to the center position and use this button.
Steering wheel can turn angle
If set to 180 degrees, the steering wheel can only rotate 180 degrees (90 degrees left and 90 degrees right). The common touring car is 900 degrees, and the F1 car is 360 degrees.
Note: When playing the game, please make sure that the angle of the steering wheel in the game is the same as the angle set by the base to prevent virtual position and errors.

Torque
When sending force feedback effects from the game to the CAMMUS DDWB base, this option defines the maximum strength of the motor. If it is set to 50%, the peak torque of the motor is 50% of the maximum peak torque of the motor. The lower the setting, the safer it is. This peak is easily reflected when a vehicle collides.
Feedback intensity
It is used to adjust the size and intensity of the data transmitted from the game/software to the CAMMUS DDWB base. The higher the setting, the stronger the vibration and force feedback transmitted by the game. The lower the setting, the more delicate and smooth the vibration and force feedback transmitted by the game.
Turn to feedback
Steering feedback is a parameter that adjusts the intensity of steering and simulates the steering experience of different types and characteristics of vehicles. The higher the setting, the heavier the steering wheel when turning, the higher the stability, the closer to the racing vehicle, and the closer to the experience of using hydraulic assistance. If the setting is lower, the steering wheel will be lighter when you turn, the stability will be weaker, the steering feedback will be weaker, the closer to the household vehicle, the closer to the experience of using electronic assistance. Recommended setting method: It is recommended to set a higher setting for a lap race car; a drifting car or a family car can be set to a smaller setting appropriately.
Shock feedback
Used to adjust the intensity of the smaller data transmitted from the game/software to the base of the CAMMUS DDWB, such as the vibration of the engine, gearbox and road feeling. For example, the higher the setting, the stronger the feeling of vibration and “confrontation”. , The lower the relative stability. The lower the setting, the weaker the sense of shock and “confrontation” felt, and the higher the relative stability.

In the “custom” mode, various data can be fine-tuned and saved for each type of vehicle.

In “Custom” mode, you can perform “synchronous/asynchronous fine-tuning” on the parameters, using “synchronous fine-tuning”, all parameters in the “base setting” will be kept the same, the torque size will be adjusted, and the remaining three parameters will follow adaptively.
“Asynchronous fine-tuning” is used to adjust the four parameters individually.
